This is one of those books that make me feel happy of buying and sharing, if you are one of those that is interested on getting knowledge about Cryptography this might work for you, specially if you are a programmer, or you just like it for fun.
The best of all is that it is easy to understand and everything is well explained. In my case, I think it just began to open doors for me, and was a great starting for making my base in the Informatic security
I have been developing many cryptosystems for Companies for some years and I teach that subject at the City’s Informatics College. Although I have experience in this topic, it has been hard to find a suitable guidance for my pupils who mainly are beginners or newbies programmers and they want to know more about Cryptography’s art. Despite this book covers all about it and uses clear words, it does not explain successfully some important topics such as sort of Cryptography, however, for those who do not know anything about computers but want to discover this new world, this book will be perfect
My brother is one of these who likes coding a lot, when he was a child he used to play "t3x71ng l1k3 th15" (texting like this), there was a moment that mom thought that he suffered of dyslexia (was a really bad thinking) but I didn't join her on that, I knew there was something special on him, and well, he began to use the pc a lot, we used to think that all he just played all day, like other boys, and that was yes and no; Someday I asked to him what he was doing, he told me that he was learning programming, we talked about that and after a time, I gifted this book to him, I guess this was one of the most important things that I could have given to him, today he is an excellent programmer and encryptor. Some days after I gave him the book, he told me that was very good, he enjoyed it a lot and was very easy to understand (he was just a 15-years old boy), and that was the base for his cryptography knowledge, after all, he asked me for more books from the same author.

Too shallow to really learn anything meaningful
The book has a lot of grammatical mistakes. The prime cost is a rip off!
Good overview. Would benefit from grammar checking, quoting sources, and general editing. Good value for coast, though. Thank you for posting.
